How pretty is my new tray?

I picked up this little vintage beauty in a charity shop in Enniskillen. Initially, I was going to put it away for a special occasion but I can't seem to put it in the cupboard. 

The gold detail is so rich looking and the hand painted rose is simple but elegant! 

I never realised it before but I think I am developing an obsession for trays. You have to agree there is nothing nicer than serving a wee cup of tea in a matching cup and saucer and placed on a decorative tray.

I adore buying vintage pieces but I have to say I do love purchasing vintage replicas. This tin tray caught my eye on a stall in the Erneside Shopping Centre. For only £6.00 you had to buy it lol... and the cup and saucer were just asking for me to take them home :) (£7.00)

Strolling through the streets of Fermanagh used to be a daily treat for me when I worked for Fermanagh TV and I really did forget just how great a shopping town it is! As the terminator says "I'll be back," but I think next time I'll bring my credit card!"

All I need to do now, is invite a few friends over for tea? Anyone free?
