🥔How to Plant Potatoes! 🥔 Start chitting potatoes roughly six weeks before planting them. On each seed potato, look for a rounded end with ‘eyes’, where shoots will sprout from. To chit potatoes, simply place the tubers ‘eyes up’ in an old egg box or similar container, in a light, frost-free room

I was delighted to take part in RTE’s The Big DIY Challenge with PJ Gallagher.

I had 10 days to complete a challenge and I choose to make over one of our rooms and turned it into a gentleman’s study for Seamus.

I have to say I loved every minute of it and wish I could do it all over again.
