I picked up this Penny Farthing Old Fashioned Bicycle Plant Stand from one of my favourite stores B&M at Rushmere. I think it really suits the style of our Victorian house. It was super easy to assemble and fits most plant holders.

How pretty is my new tray?

I picked up this little vintage beauty in a charity shop in Enniskillen. Initially, I was going to put it away for a special occasion but I can't seem to put it in the cupboard. 

The gold detail is so rich looking and the hand painted rose is simple but elegant! 

@homebargains is slowly but surely becoming one of my favourite stores. I can't pop in without coming out with one or two items!  Let's see what lovely tresures I picked up today!

My best friend growing up was my granny Kate! She was one of those grannies that was always in the kitchen, cooking up the most amazing meals and treats for all the family.  She called me her little helper and from a young age she taught me all her little tricks and tips. One thing that always sticks in my head though was that she always said "presentation was key to having a lovely lunch or dinner." She was obsessed with porcelain and always served her sandwiches or cakes on a platter plate and had her tea in a china cup. She would set the table with sterling sliver cuttery and always had beautiful napkins.

I am actually delighted with the state of the walls under the wallpaper- I am one happy girl today! 

My husband Seamus bought me Hetty as one of my presents for our first Christmas as husband and wife and I have to say it was the best present ever.
