”Those who garden together, Stay together ”🙈 Like everyone, my plans have been put on hold this month. I was hoping to get our living room plastered, but at the moment that can't happen and although usually, I'd try my hand at most DIY projects, I think that one is just a little too advanced for me lol...👷🏻‍♀️ So, out to the garden, it is! 👩🏻‍🌾

This is my latest Dream DIY project. I got the idea from a picture I saw on Pinterest about a year ago where there was an arched window placed in a wall of ivy and I have been wanting to recreate it in our own garden since.

Ever since the Giro D'Italia came to Belfast a few years ago I have wanted to have a pink bike in my garden and this week I finally found time to do a little Dream DIY makeover on an old bike I had inherited from my dad!

How lovely is this weather? It has been an absolute dream working in the garden this past month.

With the long evenings, I have completed so many garden projects which I can't wait to share with you. This first being this simple wooden bench that I made from an old gate!

Today was a first for me here at Dream DIY, as I planted my very first Cherry Tree!

It only blossoms once a year but it is so worth the wait. The blossom tree is by far one of the most beautiful trees that anyone can be lucky enough to have in their garden. With it’s beautiful spring blossom, bright summer fruits and warm autumn leaves – what better way to bring a touch of natural beauty to your home.

There is nothing nicer than sitting outside in the long evenings having your dinner al fresco style. So, this week's makeover I am going to call "Out of the FIRE and into the SUN"

Now that I have moved out of my parents house I have just realised that it's takes a life time to make your #house a #home. So today's rule is "When people offer you stuff for your house, whether it be furniture or lamps - TAKE THEM! You can decide later if you want to get rid of them but take it from me, you never know just how handy some things can come in when trying to do up your home.

There is something just right about a #PostBox being painted Red and that's what I have done today!

My parents very kindly gave me their freestanding cast #Aluminium #postbox which comes complete with an elegant matching stand. The #Victorian postbox features a distinctive horse and rider motif on the front and a lockable access door at the rear with a motif of a victorian postman making a delivery. ( If only today's post arrived so romantically lol...)
